I've been a web designer and developer since 1997, back in the days of "Textedit", a notebook full of scribbled tags, lists of web-safe fonts and colors, and the hope that Netscape would finally standardize everything to get rid of some of the design guesswork we all knew and hated.  I've seen dozens of pre-baked, online website tools come and go and I've made a good chunk of money fixing sites that other people started with packages supplied by their ISP's.  I have never been a fan of anything that didn't require some knowledge of HTML/PHP/AJAX or some other language to really make your sites worth while.  Then I came across SquareSpace.
